New: Stockholm City Hall restaurants

The City Hall is one of the top attractions in Stockholm, famous for the Nobel Prize banquet and the beautiful Golden hall. The restaurants now have new owners, new design by Swedish architect Jonas Bohlin and also a new food concept by Årets Kock, Chef of the Yearwinner, and Nobel Chef Andreas Hedlund.

When Stadshuskällaren, the City Hall Cellars, opened in 1922 it was, like the City Hall itself, a meeting between the passage of modern ideas and a strong sense of the history of Stockholm.
In this spirit, the new owners continued. Since the summer of 2012 Stadshuskällaren Restaurants Stockholm AB are responsible for all restaurant and banquet operations at the Stockholm City Hall. It includes two restaurants and banquet operations in the Blue Hall and the Golden Hall.

- We have carefully restored the two restaurants and they have undergone an exciting transformation to fit into today's Stockholm, says Maria Stridh CEO of Stadshuskällaren Restauranger

The Restaurants
Andreas Hedlund is gastronomically responsible for all activities. Andreas became Chef of the Year in 2002 and works closely with several producers and breeders to contribute to the healthy development of the new culinary nation Sweden. • Ragnar's Skafferi: Serves coffee and pastries as well as a nice lunch buffet. The environment is contemporary and cosy.
