Södermalm: New streetmarket in Hornstull

Finding bargains at a flea-market is a popular weekend entertainment for many visitors. And the Hornstulls marknad is a new reason to visit Stockholm. The sunday market has, in a short period of time, become one of Stockholms favorite sunday activities; A natural spot to meet up with your friends, grab some food and coffee, browse the market and enjoy a day out and a day off.  

When: Open 11-17 every sunday May-Sep, except midsummer (23rd june)

Where: Hornstullsstrand, Hornstull on Södermalm island

Hornstulls Marknad is an outdoor street market situated in the western part of the Stockholm district of Södermalm.  In favourable weather conditions the market stretches along the quay. In case of rain the market will move up under the bridge (Liljeholmsbron) which connects Södermalm to some of the southern suburbs. Expect to find a variety of vintage, second-hand, food, art and everythingelse that comes with a proper street market.
