Stockholm Culture Festival in August

With 600 events taking place throughout the city center, Stockholm Culture Festival is one of the most popular returning events in Stockholm and takes place 13-18 August, 2013. The programme has just been launched and includes: American disco legends, Bollywood explosion and a punk tribute by Swedish artist elite on the big stage.

Nina Persson (The Cardigans), Ebbot Lundberg and Magnus Carlson in a specially produced Velvet Underground concert. Immortal dance hits with The Pointer Sisters at Gustav Adolf Square, that during a week transforms into Stockholm's largest dance floor with dance clubs.

Critics acclaimed El Rojo Adios and Grammy-nominated salsa will perform at Brunkeberg Square while Sergels Torg Square offers high-class dance and crazy variety-evenenings. Meanwhile Kungsträdgården is transformed into Europe's largest youth festival We Are Stockholm (a.k.a Ung 08). Free entry!

Stockholm Culture Festival fills streets and squares with all kinds of culture in all genres, for all ages. 600 program starts, during six vibrant August days. In the middle of the city center and with free admission. From Sergels Torg, over Brunkeberg to Gustav Adolfs Torg with treats and samples of all the culture that Stockholm has to offer all year round, with performers and guests from all corners of the world.
