Strong increase in international visits in Stockholm during October 2015

Stockholm continues to grow strongly. During the month of October over 1.1 million guest nights were recorded in the Stockholm County, which is an increase of 7 percent compared to October last years. The largest increase came from foreign visitors, especially from Europe and outside Europe. The total increase in foreign guest nights in the county rose by 22 percent.

The largest increase in percentage came from outside Europe will increase by a total of 30 percent, followed by Europe with 20 percent. Most international overnight stays came from Stockholm's main international markets, the UK (28%), Germany (+ 17%),  Norway (+ 12%) and USA (+ 24%).
