Today May 12: Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm

Tonight is the second semifinal of the Eurovision Song Contest. Before the Public Viewing with the show broadcasted from the big screens Gabriel Forss will host a sing-along with Magnus Carlsson.

21:00–23:00 Semi-final 2 - Public viewing of the broadcast on the big screens

12:00–15:00 Students from the schools in Stockholm enter Dammen

Isabelle Hüttner Häggstrand and Emil Hedayat will be moderating throughout the day.

  • 12:00 Rödabergsskolan performs three songs from the musical “Red Hill Story – a modern, humorous adaptation of Romeo and Juliet and West Side Story”.
  • 12:25 TBA Varma Kor is a local Stockholm band that will perform four of their best songs and give a good show with new cool music. They have six songs available on Spotify and iTunes. Södra Latins gymnasium and
  • 12:50 Michael Jackson tribute by the Grimsta Kids. Grimstaskolan in Vällingby performs with three Michael Jackson songs: Black or white, They don’t care about us and Heal the world.
  • 13:15 Alviksskolans choir Music from then and now and from different parts of the world. Jam jazza, traditional Swedish folk music, Awa, traditional West-African folk music and Spring is here.
  • 13:40 To celebrate the arrival of spring, a group from the Stockholm musikgymnasium sings Circle of Life, Glad såsom fågeln och Heal the world.
  • 14:15 Youths from Sprintgymnasiet 2 in Skärholmen sing about the longing for love and to be seen. What’s it like to leave everything behind and let the dreams carry you towards a brighter future? The songs Så som i himlen and Goliat are performed with song and movements together with live music.
  • 14:35 DJ Isaac Lundholm from Rytmus will perform a DJ Mashup together with Nebay Araya.
19:00-20:00 Miss Inga #itsmfbingo

Martin ”Miss Inga” Johansson is one of Sweden’s most famous drag queens. Miss Inga’s Bingo is a concept for those who are looking for some twisted entertainment. Wild, fun and sexy.

14:00–14:30 Meet and Greet: Suzy

Radio journalist Kristian Boswell is the host for the Meet and Greets at Euro Fan Café. He will introduce you to a number of countries and artists. Today we meet Suzy who sang the Portuguese entry "Quero ser tua" in Eurovision Song Contest 2014.

15:00–15:30 Meet and Greet: Birthe Kjaer

Radio journalist Kristian Boswell is the host for the Meet and Greets at Euro Fan Café. He will introduce you to a number of countries and artists. Today we meet Birthe Kjaer who came in third place in Eurovision Song Contest 2013. Her song “Vi maler byen rød” is one of the most popular songs in the history of the competition.
