The largest increase came from international guests. A total increase in foreign overnight stays in the county with 13 percent.

- Stockholm continues to strengthen its position as a destination for visitors, especially internationally. The number of overnight stays increased by 13 percent, which is a competitive figure,  and it shows that we are on the right track in terms of our investments, says Karin Wanngård, Mayor of Stockholm and President of the Stockholm Business Region

The largest increase came from outside Europe (15%) and from two of the largest foreign markets: Great Britain (24%) and the USA (20%). The main international markets for Stockholm are Germany, UK, and USA.
